We Have a New Website — Tell Us What You Think!

Last year, when we first invited anyone interested in being a greener shopper to join the eBay Green Team, we honestly didn't know what to expect. But it was incredibly inspiring to see how thousands upon thousands of people like you signed up and joined in the conversation about how easy it is to integrate smarter, greener ideas into everyday shopping decisions.

Now, we've updated the on-line home for the eBay Green Team, and we hope you’ll take advantage of the new tools to get even more involved in the conversation. What stories do you have about using and repurposing the everyday things that exist in the world? What has been the easiest part about trying to be greener? What has been the toughest? Tell us your thoughts and what's important to you.

We'll also be sharing green stories from our backyard and around the world, as well as some of the things we're trying to do as a company to be a good citizen for the planet. Whether it's about one woman's exercise in sustainable fashion, or our German employees making sure native toads don't get crushed crossing a highway to get to shelter behind our campus in Dreilinden, we'll do our best to track down the coolest and most inspiring stories we can find.

We'll also give you simple tips and advice on easy things you can do around the house, in the office or out on the town. We know it's easy to think that the little things may not seem like they can make much a difference. Buying a pair of vintage jeans or repurposing an old canvas bag into a dog collar may not seem like it will have any impact on something as big and complicated as global warming, but that's exactly what it's doing. Our small actions, added up, can make a real difference on our planet. Join the eBay Green Team. We're all in this together. And together, our actions can add up to something big.
