Rainforest in Brazil

Rainforest in Brazil

This rainforest produces 20% of the world’s freshwater and oxygen and is home to about 30% of the world’s species.

With the majority of it located in Brazil, it is the largest plot of tropical wilderness in the world, and the moisture that enters the atmosphere from these forests plays an important role in cooling and regulating the atmosphere for places as far away as Europe and the United States.
